In the throes of late-1970s Lower East Side, a group of mismatched artists, dreamers, and outsiders come together. At the centre is Debbie—a sharp-witted, electric young woman carving out her identity through music, performance, and rebellion. She works odd jobs by day and reinvents herself on stage by night.
